Venue Changes this week | Please read!!! View this email in your browser Hello Groovers!! We need to move from our studios this Tuesday (31 Oct) onward for a few weeks while the VCE Exams are on. MONDAY This week (today 30 October) as normal at our IDT Studios. From Monday, November 6 at Noble St Uniting Church Halls, Saffron St Newtown (just down from Chilwell Primary School). TUESDAY & THURSDAY at Noble St Uniting Church Halls, Saffron St Newtown (just down from Chilwell Primary School). WEDNESDAY MORNING at Waterfront Church WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON at Geelong College Senior School Recreation Centre. The Recreation Centre is located beside the Roland Centre at the Geelong College Senior School campus and can be accessed easily from Aphrasia Street. If you are on time, we will meet at studio and go across together. DANCEABILITY as normal at our IDT Studios. This venue change will continue until November 24. Have you got your tickets yet? Now on sale at the GPAC Box Office, by phone 5225 1200 or online. COSTUME BAGS In order to keep our costumes organised in theatre, we ask that every dancer brings their own CLEARLY NAMED/ bag in to class by next Friday 3rd November. Think supermarket 'green bag' style. Large with a flat base to sit up on its own in the dressing room and be easily accessible. Decorate with a ribbon, keyring or bling so it is clearly recognisable. REMINDER: SHOW DATES Stage Rehearsal |Thurs 16 Nov Opening Show | Fri 17 Nov 7pm Final Show | Sat 18 Nov 12.30pm DREAM BIG, WORK HARD, STAY FOCUSED, AND SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GOOD PEOPLE PHOTOS Class and individual photos from our dance photo shoots are now available to view and purchase at classes. They are absolutely gorgeous and such special memories to keep. I get teary looking at my beautiful students growing up through dance! YOU ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!! EYELASHES As part of the stage makeup, dancers iDance and older generally wear false eyelashes. These are not compulsory but they do give a great effect to bring out your eyes and expression, and the dancers seem to love the chance to wear them! For your convenience we will have them available at classes for just $7.00. LOVE THANK YOU to our lovely Parent Helpers at rehearsal. It was a fabulous, productive, happy day and we couldn't have done it all without your help. A big round of applause to you all - THANK YOU!! HALLOWEEN It's Halloween this week and you are welcome to wear your costumes to class. Please make sure you can dance it it though and no masks in class please! Can't wait to see you!!!
