OPEN DAY
We are holding a fun open day full of classes for our younger students on 24 January. We are inviting all of our existing students to come along for a dance class to get back into the groove.

Please feel free to invite along any friends who are interested in what Impetus has to offer. We would love to meet them (because your friends are our friends!) and they might love it so much - they want to join up and you would get to dance together. How good would that be!?!

WHAT?
We will be running super fun combo classes for above age groups at the times, so please come ready to dance!

We also invite you or your friends to come along if you just want to say 'hello', ask a question face to face, meet our team or your teacher (most teachers will be there during the day) or if you want any help enrolling. We will be there from 10am - 3pm and would love to see you pop in.

Please register here - we will send you a reminder a couple of days before and will send out the timetable for the day again as well.

We need to move from our studios this Tuesday (31 Oct) onward for a few weeks while the VCE Exams are on.

Class and individual photos from our dance photo shoots are now available to view and purchase at classes.

They are absolutely gorgeous and such special memories to keep. I get teary looking at my beautiful students growing up through dance! YOU ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

EYELASHES

As part of the stage makeup, dancers iDance and older generally wear false eyelashes. These are not compulsory but they do give a great effect to bring out your eyes and expression, and the dancers seem to love the chance to wear them!

THANK YOU to our lovely Parent Helpers at rehearsal. It was a fabulous, productive, happy day and we couldn't have done it all without your help.

HALLOWEEN

It's Halloween this week and you are welcome to wear your costumes to class. Please make sure you can dance it it though and no masks in class please! Can't wait to see you!!!

Woo Hoo!

What a crazy, wonderful day we had last week at our Full Cast Rehearsal! It was an action and value-packed day and it was amazing to witness so much progress in just a few hours. Thank you for everyone who went out of their normal weekend routine to enable all of our dancers to practice together. It was so so so worth it!

It warms the very cockles of my heart to see so many happy, smiling faces when we come together. Our dance family is full to the brim of lovely people. THANK YOU to every single one of you for being part of Impetus. How did we get so lucky!?!

We have created a closed Facebook group specifically for our youngest dancers / parents. If you have a dancer is in either of these classes, please go to the Impetus page, click on groups and join the group IMPETUS KINDY AND MINI GROOVERS.

We will use the page to keep you up to date with all things for our little funky monkeys, including videos and performance tips and other info. Please ensure you turn on notifications for the page, to ensure fb shows you everything that is going on. Any questions, please respond to this email or ask your lovely teacher in class.

We're All In This Together!!!

I might have mentioned it before, but I cannot stress enough how important attendance is this term. We respect that everyone has busy lives and have made sure to only book in dates that we really truly NEED to ensure a successful show. Show Rehearsal time is a great reminder that dance is a team sport and at Impetus we greatly value teamwork and respect for fellow dancers and staff. <3

SCHEDULE
All Dancers are required for the entirety of their specified time. Please note that written parental consent is required for any absences/ time changes.

DRESS CODE
Please ensure that all dancers Juniors and above, are wearing black bike shorts and a black singlet or crop top as we will be wearing some costumes - EXCITING!!!!

HAIR
Please arrive with hair as specified for the performance. All very neat off the face please. No makeup required at rehearsal.

Kindy and Mini Groovers: come with hair in high ponytail.
Kids Groove: 2 high neat pigtails.
Junior Groups all up in a high side pony on the right.
Jr Hip Hop: 2 low pigtails.
Inter Groups high side pony half up on left (like Cara's on the poster)
Senior Groups and iGen: BIG 80's hair!

Eyelashes
