What's it all about?
At Impetus we offer exciting and energetic dance classes for Kinder to early primary school students. We move, dance and play to all their favourite songs which have them looking forward to class every week!
Our expert teachers pride themselves on creating a safe, supportive and social environment that encourages creativity, friendship and loads of fun! -

Through dance, children develop coordination, strength, and balance, while boosting creativity, focus, and confidence. It nurtures social skills, resilience, and emotional expression, all in a fun and supportive environment. Dance helps build strong foundations for physical health, mental wellbeing, and a lifelong love of learning. -

Our Classes

Mini Groove & Kids Groove
This foundational class a funky, energetic Jazz style, all about the joy dance! We help our youngest dancers find confidence while improving balance, coordination, spatial awareness, strength and expression.
We will run, jump, stretch, tumble and turn in this super-fun class under the guidance of our experienced teaching team.

Mini & Kids Musical Theatre
This class is for students who want to embrace the pure joy of Music Theatre and sing their hearts out while strutting their stuff. Facilitated by our experienced teachers, they learn songs and dances to their favourite shows and musicals.
You don’t need any prior singing or dance experience to join us for this fun packed hour we just want you to bring your smile, courage and team spirit and you will shine so bright.

Mini & Kids AcroDance
A specialist class to learn strength, flexibility, co-ordination and new tricks for our younger dancers.
This class caters to all levels and helps students progress at their own pace in a fun and safe environment. Our AcroDance accredited teachers ensure students work safely within their limits, and understand the importance of listening to their bodies.
We focus on movements that are going to help enhance dancing skills and performance. In this fun class we learn how to incorporate our skills into dance routines.
